COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course explains the architectural manifestation of civilization and thoughts


during the era of western dominance towards post modernism.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

Gain knowledge in different periods of architecture from classical to


western periods, its relevant design goals set in history and its relevance to
current thoughts.
Familiarize with the design principles and system of construction of
classical to western periods of architecture.
Gain to Knowledge in the study of architectural heritage its character,
influences including the construction principles.

MODE OF DELIVERY

This course will be delivered mainly through online learning. Using Googles
classroom as the main platform in giving and submitting requirements. An
option for which platform to use for synchronous classes can be discussed
depending on the platform available to students. Asynchronous classes can be
a substitute for students with difficulty in connectivity. The class discussion will
be recorded and will be sent to students in asynchronous mode.

is used. Tentative Final Grade is
