SCHOOLOGY

For Students (Mobile Phone)


Download and Install Schoology:
1. On your mobile phone, download and install the
Schoology App from Play Store or App Store.
2. Make sure that you have stable internet connection
upon logging-in to your account.
3. Open the newly installed Schoology app.

The Schoology Mobile Phone Interface


1. Type St. Ferdinand College on the School Log-in.
2. Tap/Press the arrow (-->)
User Log-in:

1. Type your Username (given by your adviser)

2. Type your Password (given by your adviser)

3. Click LOG IN.


Schoology Interface

This is the main page of Schoology for mobile phone.

Tap/Press the Home menu button.

Your username will show here.

Tap Courses.
Courses Menu

In Schoology, a course is equivalent to a subject.

Tap the Course to open your learning contents.

This is the current Course, Grade and Section.

Tap First Quarter.

Tap the LC1 material.


Learning Content Materials

These are the activities that you have to accomplish for


the day for this subject.

Notice that almost all activities are greyed-out. This


means that you cannot access an activity unless you
accomplish the first activity.

Tap on the first activity, the Daily Check-in.


Daily Check-In

This Daily Check-In activity will check your daily


attendance. You have to undergo the same process of
checking-in on the next subject and for the next subject
on the following day.

Tap GRADES/SUBMISSIONS.

Tap the “+” sign.


Check-In Submission

Tap Create.
Check-In Submission

Type the word “Present” on this area.

Then tap the submit arrow.

You will see in the GRADES/SUBMISSIONS that you


were able to submit your Daily Check-In.
Check-In Submission Complete.

Notice that under the word “Submitted” appears under


the Daily Check-In activity.

The next activity is now activated.

Tap FLAG CEREMONY.


Flag Ceremony.

Tap “Morning Prayer”.


Morning Prayer.

Tap the “Morning Prayer” video to play.

After the prayer, tap the back button to go back to the


previous page.
Flag Ceremony.

The “Morning Prayer” has now a remark “Viewed the


item”.

Next, tap the “Philippine National Anthem” material.


Philippine National Anthem.

Tap the video to play the National Anthem.

After participating in the singing, tap the back button.


Flag Ceremony.

The National Anthem is now viewed.

Next, tap the SFC Hymn and Vision-Mission


Statement.
SFC Hymn and Vision-Mission.

Tap the video to play.

After the video, click the back button.


Flag Ceremony.

All materials under Flag Ceremony are not viewed.

Tap “Back to LC1”.

Notice that the Flag Ceremony is now complete.

Next, tap the LESSON INTRODUCTION.


LESSON INTRODUCTION.

The Lesson Introduction will give a brief overview of the


contents of this lesson.

Read the entire text for this material.

After reading, tap the View Attachment button.


View Attachment.

The content of the View Attachment will appear.

If it is a video, play and watch the video. Try to


understand the content of the video. You may watch it
as many times as you want.

After watching the video, tap the back button of your


mobile phone to go back.

The screen will proceed back to the Lesson Introduction


page.

Tap the back button to go out of this material.

Notice that the Lesson Introduction material has been


viewed.

Accomplished activities appear clearer compared to


unfinished ones.

Next, tap DISCUSSION.


Discussion.

A Discussion page will have attachments and requires


a student to submit a response to a question.

Read the content of this Discussion page.

After reading, tap the View Attachments button.

The attachment for the Discussion is a video.

You may watch the video as many times you like.

After watching, tap the back button of your phone.


Discussion Response Submission.

Tap the Comments tab.

Then, tap the “+” sign up top to add a response.


Comment Submission.

In the Comments area, type your response.

Then, tap the submit button.

You may also submit a Photo, Video, or any type of File,


depending on the requirements of your teacher, through
these functions.
Comment Submitted.

Your comment is now reflected on the Comments area


down below including the responses of your
classmates.

Tap the back button.


Learning Content.

The Discussion activity is accomplished.

Next, tap the Formative Assessment activity.

Remember: Succeeding activities activate only


whenever prior materials are accomplished.

This is a test/quiz.

Read the instructions carefully.

Notice that you are given certain attempts or chances at


earning a good score for this test/quiz.

To begin the test/quiz, tap Start New Attempt.

The Assignment activity is now active.

Tap ASSIGNMENT.
Assignment.

An Assignment is created and submitted on the same


day of the learning content or may be given a due date
for submission.

Read the instructions carefully.

This Assignment instructs the students to create their


outputs under Grades/Submissions.

Tap Grades/Submissions.

Tap the “+” sign to type your answers.

Type your answers on this area.

After typing, tap the Submit button.

A Summative Assessment is a recorded and graded


examination that culminates a certain lesson, unit,
chapter or a whole quarter.

Read the instructions carefully before taking the exam.

Tap, Start Attempt.

Type the correct answer on the box provided.

Tap Next for the next question.
