measure the length of the sides first. We can use a ruler, a meter stick, or a measuring
tape.

ruler in getting the length of the sides. To get the perimeter of this mosquito coil box, we
can add the measurements of the sides of this thing. In measuring lengths, we start at
one vertex at zero. Then we determine the length on which number or value the side
ends on the next vertex. Notice that each side of the box measures 12 cm.
