SAP Cloud applications e.g. Concur, Success Factor, Fieldglass, Ariba etc. need to consume the Project Controlling
Objects e.g. WBS Elements etc. to allocate the expenses in e.g. Travel to Reimburse (T2R), Recruit to Retire (R2R)
and Source to Pay (S2P) etc. processes. SAP Master Data Integration Service is provided in SAP Business
Technology Platform (SAP BTP) to simplify the integrations between different Cloud applications in different
systems (Project Controlling Objects are in S/4 HANA).
In order to enable the Master Data Integration for the Project Controlling Objects in SAP BTP, one of the important
parts is to replicate the Project Controlling Objects (created newly or further changes) from the S/4 HANA Cloud to
the Project Controlling Object Master Data Integration in SAP BTP.
This section describes how to set up the Communication System and Communication Arrangement in your SAP
Fiori Launchpad for replicating data from S/4 HANA Cloud to SAP Master Data Integration Service in SAP
Integration Suite.
During the described steps in this guide, you will be required to enter or provide system-specific information. To
ensure a smooth and efficient integration between SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP S/4HANA Cloud,
we recommend that you have the information listed in the table below at hand prior to starting the integration
process.
