 Sectors and the ways computers/computer technologies
have been globally used.

The computer system is not a simple machine. It is like a very modern and
highly complex calculator. It can do all the functions at a speedy rate and
also helps us to search and progress in our homes and business. The use of
computers has expanded itself and has helped every part of a functioning
society. Without computers, simple, everyday tasks would be impossible to
perform. As the world continues to grow, the demand for computers to
continue basic function has increased. Today, many types of computers are
used in our everyday life. In most of the world, it’s impossible to use a
product or service that doesn’t require computing.

There are various applications of computers. They are used in many sectors
such as Education, Banking, Government, Health, Military, and many more.
Computers are widely used in the Education sector. Students use their
computers for different educational activities. Students and teachers use
the computer as a subject and tool of instruction. It is also used for research
and development. Library and Account use the computer for managing
books and finance of their institutions. In the current situation, students and
teachers are using computers for conducting online classes due to a
temporary lockdown caused by COVID-19.

The use of Computers in the Health and medical sector has been
significantly increased in the past few decades. Computers allow faster
communication between a patient and a doctor. Doctors can collaborate
better over the Internet. Today, it is possible to obtain expert’s opinions
within seconds utilizing the Internet. Medical professionals sitting on
opposite sides of the globe can communicate within minutes with the help
of a Computer. Doctors can even perform complicated surgery using a
computer remotely. Different medical practitioners can discuss the medical
issue in medical forums, blog, write articles and publish it on the internet
with the help of a computer which then can be accessed by almost
everyone.

Computer technologies of these days have transformed the banking sector

from paper and pen to digitized and networked services. The computer has
completely revolutionized the banking sector. People stopped carrying
physical money. Instead, they prefer plastic money (Credit Card). Many
transactions have become cashless because most of the transactions are
processed online by using computers. Banks use computers to keep track
of bank records and track them much faster. Nowadays ATMs are found
almost on every street which is itself a computer that helps people save
time.

The computer is widely used in the business sector. Computer helps in

different charts and diagrams for analyzing business which is very essential
to operate business smoothly. It is used in almost everything from
generating business reports to communicating with clients, computers do a
lot for the efficiency with which a business is run. The computer has
brought the business a long way from the age of pen and paper, and
folders stored in dusty storage compartments. Business uses computers for
accounting, marketing, etc. which helps entrepreneurs to run their business
smoothly

There is an abounding number of sectors where computers are used. They

make our life much easier and simpler. Without a computer, a proper
functional society would be impossible. Without computers, a day-to-day
task which now is a breeze would be much harder. Hence computers are
used in every sector of human society globally with or without our
acknowledgment.
