FAQ:

Q: I have a legit steam account, with several games. How this tool can be useful in
this case?.

A: For legit owned games, GLR can be used to unlock DLC that you don't own. Bypass
family sharing restrictions and region lock.

Q: I have several cracked games which I can run either with SSE or inside an
unofficial Steam account. What more can I do with this tool?

A: SSE is a Steam emulator and GreenLuma is a Steam crack, their purpose is pretty
much the same. Because GreenLuma uses Steam it can give you a few more features
such as Steam cloud and access to the Steam in-game overlay.

Q: I have nothing but this tool. What should I do?

A:
You download the files for the game you want, copy them to your steamapps folder
and use GreenLuma to play.
You can NOT download games you dont own. you must first download the game files
then use GLR. its more or less imo like a universal crack.
You can find many games with all the files you need here:
https://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewforum.php?f=22

Q: Can I play online?

A: With family shared games, yes (best use -NoHook parameter if possible), with
games you don't own...maybe - not official servers but perhaps cracked servers or
LAN (with hamachi/tunngle etc)

Q: GreenLuma Reborn support steam workshop?

A: Yes in some games.

Installing:
Install it like it is stated in the first post (you do not need to use SteamLite).
Then you start it via GreenLuma_Reborn.exe, Choose the amount of added Games or DLC
and add the correct AppID. Then you can (if you have the files for the games) start
the game via the library. If you do not own the game on the used account or have
the game shared you will need a Appownership ticket or a cracked exe. If used for
online play with shared games use the -NoHook parameter.

Notes on 'unlock' games and dlc:

Unlock DLC enables unowned DLCs for games. Only works if the needed DLC files are
available (so no possible download via Steam) Check the depots if there are any at
all.
Unlock Games works the same way, but cant be used to connect to legit server or
record stats + time via Steam.

Notes on .acf files

"you need both the actual game files and the correctly edited .acf in their
respective folders to make the game work with GLR"

".acfs are metadata files stored in "Steam\steamapps\" that the client reads at
each start to get information about which games are installed, in which folders and
other stuff. Basically, if a valid .acf is present, steam will treat the respective
game as installed, that's required for GLR to work. For the editing, check steamDB
--> Depots for the depotIDs to edit in to the "MountedDepots" section of the .acf,
best compare two or three you have from your legit games with the data found on
steamDB until you understand the basic principle."

Family share bypass full guide:

"About sharing and how to use it with GLR.
1. Log in to your Steam Account that you want to use and check the "authorize
Library Sharing on this computer"
2. Log out and log in with the account from your family, friend or whatever and do
the same as above
3. Before logging out check the steam account which should have access to the
games.
4. Log in to your Steam account and download the game legit and to be sure start it
once. (important that you do this first before adding the appid, since this causes
download bugs)
5. Exit Steam and add the appid from the game or DLC, limited to 40 at a time to
GLR. You can do this with the cmd window, which resets the whole list or adding the
0,1,2,3,4,5,6,...39.txt file which only contains the appid and nothing more to the
applist folder in your GLR (steam) directory.
6. Then launch Steam with the GLR Launcher (in -NoHook mode for legit Servers) and
use the saved list (this maybe needs some retries, sometimes there is a problem and
the games are still listed as shared by...)
7. Added Games and DLC should now show up in your own library and you can start
them to play legit, while the second account is playing something else. If this is
not the case repeat step 6.
One thing to mention is that when you share your account with someone else, and you
start to play a game which belongs to another person via GLR, your
friends,family,... will not be able to use your library (kicked out in 5 Minutes if
they are still ingame). Your friends,family,... would have to setup their own GLR
to play your games."

Notes on family share bypass:

Game needs to be started once in legit steam first.
"You do not need Steamlite. You can ofcourse use GLR with only legit Steam, but
sometimes you need to have a ownership verification for games to work, like Euro
Truck Simulator 2 or Prey. There are options in Steamlite to dump the tickets from
someone who owns the game to use for your account without the need to share the
game via family sharing."

Notes on achievements/stats:
"Steam will only record your stats, playtime and achievements if you have it
shared."
