Final Project Presentation
Learning Outcome
Communicate the deliverables of the project in oral form; operate effectively in a group context.
Introduction
One of the assessment tasks for the software project units is an oral Final Project Presentation. This
is a team task, where all team members will participate in the presentation. The Presentation content
will be based on all major aspects of the project executed in the last 11-12 weeks. It is important
that it is coherent and well organised.
All Members are expected to participate equally to the presentation. Presentations will take place
during scheduled workshop and seminar sessions during weeks 11 and 12. A presentation schedule
is also available on Moodle to indicate your approximate presentation order.
There is no specification for the structure of the presentation. The written Project Final Report
specification may be used as a guide for the content. The following content are expected to be
included however, and can be based on the Final Report content due in week 12.
Note the above is not an exhaustive list and other items may also be included.
It is NOT expected that the presentation will contain a demonstration of the software developed.
However screen shots of actual software are welcome.
Presentation timing
Given the restricted time schedule, all teams must ensure they stay within their allocated time and
must be ready to present on time.
Slide submission
Slides in PDF Format, with file name << Team_No>>.pdf, need also to be submitted on Moodle at
the end of the Presentation.
Presentation Format
OnLine Students will present over Zoom during their allocated session/time
Teams may choose to record a video their presentation which will be shown during the presentation
time. However all Team Members must be present at the time of the presentation to answer
questions.
Marking
All Team Members are expected to make equitable contributions to this team task. A single mark is
the default for all Team Members. However, marks may be adjusted if the contributions of
individual Team Members differ significantly.
