Initial Evaluation:
Some factors resulted from evaluation was not good but has the potential to expand
his ability over a time period. For example, if a child is yet not well in a certain factors or
features only time will take over the child allocated ability or skills. The development stage of
a child affects the productivity build in the self and will not operate if they aren’t in the right
stage of his childhood.
On the observation, the child has an attitude of laziness even just performing simple
households chores the child disregard and keeps on murmuring whenever you ask him to
help you, he would help but not frequently. That means to say, if you ask him just once and
twice, but if more than that he would have to grumble.
However the result I think was normally in capable that this child shows positive
outcome from the evaluation assessment happened.
Developmental History:
Since this child, is one of the closest niece of mine hes only and precious child so
when we dig in history the child has been cared enough to give or provide whatever his
parents give him. I interviewed his mother and one of she said “his child is like her life”,
whatever happens taa child remains her child. To state the fact that the child was given to
them in the older years. Meanwhile the child is physically and mentally healthy.
More than 6 days of working with this child, and interviewed both of his parents having him
the part of his attitude was shown in between when the activity occurred.
Behavioral Observations:
During the evaluation, I let the child perform some task regarding to the activity
written in the assessment. There are activity that show a potential and performed by the
child wholly. The child was attentive, nevertheless he was immersed and observant in the
activity. His actions were alive and he keeps on saying what to do now? Gradually, the child
followed the instructions well. He shows interests in varied activities, his behavior shows a
good outcome not only on one factor but on 2 or more factors. One thing I had observe in
the child, knowing him possessed an enthusiastic characteristics.
The observant collected worksheet through research applied during the process of
evaluation. Some tools were used are rope, spoon and fork, pencil and papers, and etc.
Running, jumping, walking and balancing were performed by the child, until the following
activities are done. Nevertheless, he has growth from first until last meeting he excel in
activity.
Summary:
From the first day until the last day of assessment I saw his behavior of a being lazy,
even simple chores like preparing plates in the table he can’t do it because he first love
playing just to estimate he spend more time in playing from morning to afternoon. The result
of the assessment appeared positive response and result from the child and parent as well.
The child was having inconsistent temper.
Based from the data gathered he's good at all except on his cognitive skills, and
especially in the arithmetic and math operations like the concept of subtracting, dividing, and
multiplying knowing him as Grade 3 those subjects were usually mastered in this grade.
Therefore the child has difficulty on math operations.
Recommendation:
I recommend the parents to be more efficient and creative in teaching the child use
more of material to initiate the process of learning of child. Teaching strategies is a must
should be unique and effective so that a child build more ideas and learnings about concept.
To establish independency, a child must not spoiled or giving him more attention. Better give
child a distant where he can show his skill by himself however guidance is needed for child
to be productive and developed skills.
