equipped for graduate studies in areas like business, social work or law. Career
options with an AB degree range from human resources to sales to other
business opportunities.

Based on the findings of the study the researchers concluded that

1.1 Psychologists must graduate a bachelor’s degree as their first step

in pursuing higher education.

1.2 Some of the professional psychologists took up psychology as their

course because they believe that there are a lot of job opportunities

. They considered their work as a success because it is their stepping stone in

achieving their goals in life.

work because what they have learned and understand when they
studied psychology is a huge help for them in their work.

All of the selected Professional Psychologists gained confidence and learn

how to relate other people depending on what kind of person they are dealing.
They were able to have a huge patience and understanding to others. The four
selected psychologists were able to help the society through helping in job
opportunities to the people who are unemployed. And used their gained skills
when they are still studying such as in looking people on the inside and know
if the person is really sincere or not. In that way, the employers are all
responsible and willing to work because the psychologists were able to do an
initial screening to them.
37

Therefore, enrolling Psychology does not require any skills. Those skills
will be gained during the process of studying it. A Psychologist can have a
bachelor’s degree in any Academy or University. The two sub-courses under
Psychology are AB psychology also known as Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
and BS psychology which is known as Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Those with a bachelor’s degree in psychology have a possibility to be employed
in sales, business administration, or education. The skills that the
Psychologist attained will be used as their guide to pursue higher education or
in their field of work relating to Psychology.
