Subject: Invitation Letter for Akbar Public School Model United Nations IV.

The Akbar Public School Model United Nations (APSMUN) is a MUN organized by
students, for students. Since 2015 it takes place every year, over 100 students took part
in APSMUN-II and 150+ in APSMUN-III. APSMUN stands out among similar MUNs because
of its extensive pragmatic approach, which revolves around a central topic and consists of
small-group work, discussions, lectures and debates on the topic. The topic itself is
usually inspired by current conflicts and areas of tension, as well as by global
developments. The main aim is to give participants to get to know each other, exchange
their opinions and work on potential solutions independent of their personal, social or
cultural background.
Now the team of APSMUN came up with the idea of the 4th Edition of this Inter-School
MUN. It will be a 3 days Inter School conference with one social event and dinner. It will
be held on (Thursday 28th November, 2019 - Saturday 30th November, 2019). This year
we are inviting more than 20 schools.
We welcome students and advisors from across the Karachi to take part in an exciting
and enlightening event.
Our conference fosters problem solving skills and allows new students to gain a first
taste of organized debate and provides veteran students the opportunity to hone their
debating and public speaking skills.
This year APSMUN is launching four styles of committees; PNA (Pakistan National
Assembly), IPCC (India Pakistan Crisis Cabinet), UNWOMEN (United Nation Entity for
Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women) and UNHRC (United Nation Human
Rights Council).
These committees will encourage all delegates to extensively research and analyze
their respective country’s politics and political relations.
We are confident that each of our committees will allow both beginner and experienced
debaters to put their skills to good use in an accurate simulation of the 21st century in
international politics.
To achieve our target and goal and to arrange a conference, we need your support and
participation. We will be very thankful to you.
