I have learned a lot in this subject regarding the Mobile Operating System
that is now used promptly and in any corner of the world. Mobile operating
system is a software that allows smartphones, tablets and PCs and other devices
to run applications and programs. A mobile OS typically starts up when a device
powers on, presenting a screen with icons or tiles that present information and
provide application access. These OS have been developed to enable users to use
phones in much the same way as personal computers which were used 10 or 20
years ago. Now, we had Android, iOS, Apple iOS, Symbian, Windows phone OS
and others.
The Android developed by Google had different versions which were
developed year after year to improve the use of data and its applications such as
android 1.5 cupcake, android 1.6 donut, android 2.0-2.1 eclair, android 2.3
gingerbread, and others and one of its latest is android 10 which is in the lesson
which was launched in march 2019. Because of this developed operating system,
it helped a lot of the community to work fast and in anywhere they can pass their
requirements, browse what they need to look into such as using emails, and other
applications and used is work, personal and business. Especially nowadays with
this pandemic that it really helped a lot that even at home we can work and do
business through the use of our mobile and its applications and Kotlin.
It helped everyone especially the programming Languages that supported
Android such as Java, C++, and Kotlin. Android Studio is the official android
application development IDE based on IntelliJ IDEA that google had launched in
month of December 2014. It supports development for all versions of android,
including android wear, android TV and android auto, provided you download the
respective SDKs from their servers.
An android studio offers even more features that enhance your
productivity when building android apps, such as a flexible gradle-based build
system, a fast and feature-rich emulator, a unified environment where you can
develop for all android devices, apply changes to push code and resource changes
to your running app without restarting your app. Code templates and Github
integration to help you build common app features and import sample code.
Extensive testing tools and frameworks, lin tools to catch performance, usability,
version compatibility, and other problems. Built-in support for google cloud
platform, making it easy to integrate google cloud messaging and App engine.
Widget is a small gadget or control of the android application placed on the
home screen to allow the user to use their favorite applications in home screen in
order to quickly access them. And it has different types of widgets such as
information widgets, collection widgets, control widgets and hybrid widgets.
These type of widgets had gathered all the possible use of the user or the intent
of the user for an application to use it. Because of Android Studio with its
program and its application it gave the people an easy life to use for work and
business and even for personal use and very handy, fast and easy. It helped a lot
not only for its purpose personally but also to reach out other people on the other
side of the world.
