Understanding the Self

REFLECTION PAPER

SUBJECT What is the topic or situation to be dealt about?

It was all about the introduction of understanding the self it deals with knowing yourself not just
physically but knowing the self in an inner side of it when it comes to your attitude, behavior, and
interests and how you deeply know yourself so that we can able to understand it well.
EXPERIENCE Share an experience that relates you to the subject.

Throughout the years of my life, I was able to notice that I was having a hard time engaging
myself with social interaction but I do love making friends and acquaintances and I don’t know
how to bring myself the situation and to be honest, I don’t know myself well why I can feel that I
don’t belong in any social gathering or any group but the only thing I can assure is I'm not introvert
I just don’t know how to interact.

RESPONSE What were your thoughts or reactions in your experience?

My thoughts about my experience are to make changes on how I deal with it in a positive mind set
so when I knew that understanding the self will help students to know better about themselves, I
was glad to know the lessons and maybe I can find the answer I'm looking for.

INTROSPECTION Reflect on your response (casual factors, effects, significance, etc.)

The effect is I was more sensitive in terms of my emotional well-being and I easily got timid about
those experiences I have.

It is acceptable to any standard because students and others must learn from their experiences
and make them an inspiration to achieve goals or dreams.

As a future nurse, the first thing I need to learn and understand is myself so that I can give the
best healthcare assistant to my future clients and to do my job correctly and passionately.
