Details about the role

Title Investment Associate

Type Full-time, with focus on one or two sectors that we’ve invested in.
Location Bengaluru
Description Build a thesis
• Survey the landscape across India and the world to identify trends
• Review the impact model underlying thesis
• Discuss with domain experts, peers and entrepreneurs to validate/refine the thesis

Investing
• Source deals through various networks
• Build the financial models to understand key drivers and sensitivities
• Evaluate entrepreneurs
• Support the deal documentation process
• Support the due diligence process

Portfolio development
• Support the Deal Lead in building the infrastructure to ensure appropriate monitoring and
evaluation of the investee company
• Provide ad hoc support to the entrepreneurs on key strategic initiative
Requirements • Undergraduate degree from top-tier university
• 2-3 years’ work experience (venture capital, start-up roles, consulting or investment banking)
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
