by applying the core values that Mapua University has been inculcating to its students since
Our program is about providing gifts and meals for the children and staff of the
Philippine Children’s Medical Center situated in Quezon City. With this, we hope to give them
comfort as they brave through their plight and condition. Hence, we would be able to fulfill our
pursuit from the subsidy to be generously provided by our reputable institution. Although the
number of recipients is still not finalized, we have settled with our target of at least 150 children
and staff. Nevertheless, our goal is not driven by the numbers. Rather, the goal is to appreciate
the true essence of our pursuit by embodying the core values as exemplary students of our dear
institution.
The rationale of the program is to make the unwell children feel loved and cared for. In
addition, we also aim to provide for the staff as appreciation for their never-ending hard work in
caring for the precious children. To do so, we plan on giving the children food, medicines, and
other things needed for their treatment. For the staff, we intend to give them a small token of
appreciation aside from the food we have primarily proposed. Hence, this will benefit the school
for they likely would be recognized for their generosity, inspiring other institutions to do the
same. That way, the school will foster the spirit of giving and become an instrument to raise

children and the workers of the said hospital. Our group also decided to give medicines to those

Mapuan must possess. This project has made us realize that we can make a difference in the
smallest way possible. All things considered, our program is essentially a way for us to show our
