Do & Don’t during interview.

1. Be prepared for the interview. Please make sure you check the company basic
information at their website. Especially, job description and how you can contribute
with your current skill and experience.

2. Don’t forget to bring recently updated Resume (CV) with Formal photo, identity
card (copy), education certification / transcript, portfolio (If required).

3. Call the PIC beforehand if you have to be late due to unavoidable circumstance (also
please inform us).

4. Wear business casual ( long sleeve shirt and slacks) or batik shirt. Wear polished
pantofel for men. Make sure your appearance is clean, smart, and tidy. Ladies can wear
a blouse, with skirt, a simple dress or batik dress with a acceptable shoes with heels (3-7
cm).

5. Hair neatly cut or trimmed. Facial hair (mustache, sideburns or beard) should be
neatly trimmed.Make sure your teeth are clean and your breath is fresh. Hair should be
neat for ladies.

6. Please expect yourself to reach 15 - 20 minutes earlier in case of any unexpected


incident for instance, traffic jam ...

7. Be polite : stand up to show your respect when the interviewers walk into interview
room, shake hands firmly, keep eye contact, and mention your name clearly with warm
gestures and smile. Collect name cards with both hands if the interviewer offered one.
Please switch off / silent your phone before you arrive at the interview room. Wait until
the interviewer offered a seat and seat in upright position. During the interview
remember to be nice, talk slowly with clear and reasonable tone / voice in courteous
manner. Please talk briefly about your career history that covers on how you can
contribute you the company, why you applied for company, your future life and career
and what do you want to do.

They might ask you about the details of your past working experience. Communication
skill is important so please keep in mind on how you answer the questions in good
logical manner.

Don’t talk too loud or too quiet. Make sure the interviewer understand what your points
are. Please do not hesitate to ask the PIC to repeat the questions if if you don’t
understand or you have any inquiries during the interview session.

Please be honest when answering the questions and straightforward. Don’t lie about
your background or your ability / skills. If you can’t do something you can tell the
interviewer that you are willing to learn and try your best. Please include your
achievements in your previous work such as result and self-initiative. Please keep it
simple and easy to understand.

8. You may refrain from complain about the current/previous company (too much work,
overwork, bad superior / boss, etc). Don’t forget to prepare several questions in advance
and ask questions during interview to express interests in the company your applying
for (about company, job position, work place).

9. Please say thanks to interviewer when the interview session is finish and make
positive comment such as "Through interview today, I want to work for your company
even more. I hope you could consider positively. That will improve your impression.
