SCPSC SAVAR

Savar Cantonment Public School and College (SCPSC) started its journey on 2nd February1977.
It was recognized as Junior High School on 1st January 1978 and as Secondary School on1st
January 1980. In 1987 the institution was named Savar Cantonment Public School.
Subsequently, college section of the institution started functioning since 1st July 1993. The
General Officer Commanding, 9 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Savar Area is theChief
Patron of the institution and the Commander, 9 Artillery Brigade is the Chairman of itsgoverning
Body.Savar Cantonment Public School and College situated in the suburb of Dhaka, the capital
ofBangladesh, is blessed with an excellent panoramic view easily capable of captivating
theyoung minds. It is surrounded by the Savar golf course and very close to the
nationalmausoleum- a pride, a glory and a lasting reminder of the great liberation war of
Bangladeshand the Dhaka-Aricha highway almost equally bisects the two wings of the
institution. Its discipline, co-ordinated educational system and timely planned activities are
widely knownto each and every corner of the whole Savar area. It is a representative institution
in Dhakadistrict that is giving its tireless effort to impart a balanced education in a very
congenialatmosphere to make worthy and morally upright citizens capable of facing the new
centurychallenges. This institution has occupied a prominent, proud and envious position for
itsacademic results, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, skilled management and
uniqueorganizational characteristics. It is earnestly believed that this institution will further be
enriched and march forward with theadvice, instruction and guidelines from and concerted effort
of all concerned.
