#1: What is eWaste?

Electronic waste (E-Waste) is waste generated by the disposal of electronic equipment and components
such as mobile phones, computers, and televisions.Due to the rapid development of modern high-tech
technologies, many kinds of latest electronic devices and parts are being released every day. Therefore,
it is a society where it is natural to frequently replace electronic devices that suit one's taste when
trends change and performance are submitted. But at the same time, it also means a huge amount of
electronic waste. Unfortunately, such a surge in electronic waste does more than just trash to our
society. This is because large amounts of harmful substances contained in electronic components and
electronic devices pose a fatal risk not only to the environment but also to the human body.

#2: Think back on your own personal electronic purchasing habits. How often do you buy a new piece of
electronic equipment or new phone? Give a few sentences justification for this frequency (there is no
right or wrong answer, just an exploration of our habits).

Personally, I am not interested in new technology or new electronics. Therefore, in my case, the amount
of waste discharged is low.

#3: What would it take for you to change your electronic purchasing habits? Be specific.
In order to solve the real problem of electronic waste, a thorough policy should be prepared to prepare
for situations in which countries abuse electronic waste exports by sticking to their own interests. In
addition, voluntary efforts to replace harmful substances in the manufacture of electronic devices and to
reduce the frequent replacement of electronic devices, which are simply fashionable, are considered to
be of paramount importance.
