a. Natural-born citizen

c. Able to read and write

e. 2 years of resident in the Philippines
- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (Lower House)
- Section 5-7 of Article VI of Philippine Constitution
a. Congress- 250 members
b. Party-list- 3 years
- Qualifications
a. Natural-born citizen
b. 25 years old
c. Registered voter
d. Able to read and write
e. 1 year residence in the Philippines
3. JUDICIAL (evaluate laws)
- SUPREME COURT
 14 Associate Justices and 1 Chief Justice are appointed by the President on
the recommendation of the Judicial and Bar Council
- Qualifications:
a. 40 years old
b. Legal practitioner for 15 years
c. Natural-born citizen
- COURT OF APPEALS
a. Sandigan-bayan (special court for hearing corruption cases of
government officials)
b. Shariya Court
c. Regional Trial Court
