 Introduction

Filipinos are big eaters of meat especially pork and pig farming ,
comprises a large part of the livestock industry Farming of this .
livestock is ingrained into cultures and traditions of Filipino

families.

The Large White breed of the domestic pig (Sus scrofa

domesticus ), is one of the most used and profitable breeds in the

Philippines . Their appearance is similar to Landraces , the

distinguishing characteristic is their ears , Large Whites have

upright ears .
