Chapter 4

Presentation, Analysis, and Interpretation of Data

This chapter presents, analyzes, and interprets the data from the

results of the survey. The data presented in this chapter were gathered

from the researcher-made questionnaire, followed by the findings, analysis

and interpretation of data.

The results of the survey distributed to 400 respondents through the

online survey will be discussed in this context. The figures and graphs

show the quantitative and qualitative variations and analysis of the study.

1. Demographic Profile of the Respondents (Gender, Age, City of

Residence, Profession and Civil Status)

Gender - This table shows the Gender Frequency of the

respondents and its percentage.

above with the total of 400 respondents.

respondents based on civil status.

into always with a total number of 81 respondents, followed by rarely with a

total number of 76 respondents and often with a total number of 18

respondents with a total of 400 respondents.

The table shows the frequency and percentage of the things that will

attract the respondents to live in a certain city. There are a total of 400

respondents. According to the table shown, 92.8% or 371 of the

respondents will live to a certain city if there is a good career opportunity

for their respective fields. 38.3% or 153 of the respondents wants to live

near schools. 364 or 91% of the respondents will live to a certain city

depending on the cost of living. 27% or 108 of the respondents wants to

live near restaurants and fast-food chains. 146 or 36.5% of the

respondents wants to live to a city which is accessible to public parks and

who agreed to the proposal of the researcher to use the combination of

modern and biophilic architecture in making vertical housing. The majority

of the respondents agreed that modern and biophilic architecture will leave

a good aftertaste in designing vertical housing with a number of 399 which

number of respondents, followed by Agree with total number of 88 votes

which is 12% of the total number of respondents, while no one vote for

Neutral, Disagree and Strongly Disagree. The majority of votes on second

statement goes for Strongly Agree with a total of 311 votes which is 77.7%

of the total respondents, followed by Agree with a total of 89 votes which is

22.3% of the total respondents followed by Neutral with zero vote, Disagree

with zero vote and Strongly Disagree with zero vote. The majority of the

respondents of the third statement vote for Strongly Agree with 349 votes

which is 87.2% of the total respondents followed by 51 votes which is

The table shows weighted mean that the majority of the respondents

are strongly agree to the statement provided on how this development will

provide positive impact to the residents and to the Local Government of

Quezon City with a grand total weighted mean of 4.853125. This conclude

that this study occurs helpful and will be a great asset to Quezon City.
