PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

Improvement Team:
• Solving problems related to inline (Vehicle assembly), Part fitment, machines& Co-
ordination with dept forming a team in case of complicated issues
• Vehicle testing in different tracks and solving customer oriented problems in brake, AC,
pick up, Cabin noise, Wind noise, Engine Noise, Pulling, ABS testing.,
• Vehicle Direct Pass Ratio Improvement thro Offline Problem reduction by using QC Tools
Manpower handling:
• Managing 3 people , each in a shift , to solve inline / off line defects
• Defect / Car reduced from 4.12 to 2.13 for OK Line by improving the inline reworkable
problem
• 4M analysis done for inspection areas and decrease the inspection time from 92 secs to
81 secs (Even Check point split up to every inspectors, Inspection flow changed)
Vehicle Audit:
• Audit conducted in Signed-Off Vehicle as fitment and function aspects and inline feedback
given to all inspectors
• Audit problems are discussed , twice in a week, getting counter measure to improve
Vehicle Quality

• Model Comparison done with competitors model for quality improvement and cost
reduction of vehicle (i20 Head rest guide rod weight reduced by solid to hollow type
compared with skoda fabia)
Project activities:
• New car project activities like P1 stage tryouts,4M Audit, Feasibility Study and line quality
confirmation.
• Function and fitment confirmation for engineering change orders before mass production.
• Undergone overseas training for ‘i20 Project stabilization” to Hyundai motor
corporation , Seoul, South Korea behalf of Vehicle Assembly quality.
• Training to Line operator regarding New techniques (ABS,CRDi,VGT & TPMS etc.,)
Top management Presentations:
• Conduct Daily Quality meeting , chaired by Unit Head-Passenger Car 1, discussion about
day to day problems
• Chronic problems are analyze and improvements are explained in Weekly meeting,
chaired by Asst-Vice president- Production, by respective coordinators
• Runner up of ‘Small Group Activities’ competition for “Lower arm to subframe rattle noise
problem elimination” awarded by Sr.ED-Production
