-TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF HISTORY, POLITICS, GEOGRAPHY,
ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL DISCIPLINE.

2. WHAT ARE THE AIMS/GOALS OF K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN CURRICULUM?


-TO FOSTER THE LEARNERS' ANALYTICAL THINKING, CREATIVITY,
PRODUCTIVITY, TO BE ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY, TO BE PATRIOTIC, TO BE
RESPONSIBLE, TO BE NATIONALLY AND GLOBALLY AWARE, TO CARE FOR
HUMANITY AND ISSUES IN THE SOCIETY.
3. HOW DOES TEACHING K-12 ARALIPUNAN PANLIPUNAN CURRICULUM HELP
THE STUDENTS IN KINDERGARTEN?
- IT HELPS THE STUDENTS THROUGH BUILDING A FOUNDATION OF SELF-
AWARENESS, RELATIONSHIP AND GLOBAL AWARENESS.

STUDENTS IN GRADE 1?
- IT HELPS THE LEARNERS THROUGH KNOWING ONESELF AS PART OF
THE FAMILY, SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND EVEN HAS A ROLE IN THE
ENVIRONMENT.
5. HOW DOES TEACHING K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN CURRICULUM HELP THE
STUDENTS IN GRADE 2?
- IT HELPS THE LEANERS ESTABLISHED UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE
ANCIENT FILIPINO TIMES, GEOGRAPHICAL, HISTORICAL CONCEPTS AND
UNDERSTANDING MODERN COMMUNITY.

6. HOW DOES TEACHING K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN CURRICULUM HELP THE


STUDENTS IN GRADE 3?
- IT HELPS THE LEARNERS ESTABLISHED UNDERSTANDING OF ONES
ORIGIN, CULTURAL, HISTORICAL, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL BACKGROUND
THROUGH TEACHING CONCEPTS SUCH AS CONTINUITY AND CHANGE, HUMAN
INTERACTION, PHYSICAL & SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT.
7. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF TEACHING K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN WILL NOT BE TAUGHT
TO THE PRIMARY GRADERS?
-THE FILIPINOS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ESTABLISHED A STRONG FOUNDATION OF
UNDERSTANDING AND VALUING THEMSELVES, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY. IT WOULD BE
DIFFICULT TO RESOLVE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO
UNDERSTAND HOW SOCIETY AND ECONOMY WORKS.

8. DOES TEACHING K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN HAS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE IMPACT


TO THE LEARNERS? WHY?
- TEACHING K-12 ARALIPANUNAN CURRICULUM HAS A POSITIVE IMPACT TO THE
LEARNERS BECAUSE IT TEACHES THEM HOW TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE,
COMPASSIONATE AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZEN TO OUR COMMUNITY AND TO THE
WORLD.
9. WHAT IS K-12 ARALING PANLIPUNAN CURRICULUM ?
- ARALING PANLIPUNAN IS A SUBJECT THAT ARE TAUGHT IN PHILIPPINE
EDUCATION SYSTEM. THERE ARE VARIOUS AND SPECIFIC LEARNING AREAS TO
BE TAUGHT IN EACH LEVEL'S, SUCH AS HISTORY, ECONOMICS, GEOGRAPHY,
POLITICS, AND ANTHROPOLOGY.

10. WHY IS TEACHING ARALING PANLIPUN IN K-12 CURRULUM IMPORTANT?


- TEACHING ARALING PANLIPUNAN IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT AIMS TO
DEVELOP MANY SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING WHICH CAN BE USE IN A DAILY
BASIS. IT WILL HELP THE PERSON REACH SELF ACTUALIZATION AND BECOME
GLOBALLY COMPETENT.
