The Review of Related Literature is the synthesis of information gathered and coded as part of the research process. Each Axial
Codes are arranged to create a synthesis of information which explains each causal relationship among codes and keywords.
These will then create a flow of information that enables the researcher apply the analytical features of the Literature Review
(see Lesson 4.1)
Follow the steps below to compose each synthesis of your Literature Review:
Title Must be all Upper Case and indicate the Chapter and Part Label below it, highlighted (bold), and set at the
center of the page.

The content of each synthesis comes from each Axial Codes that will link the Open Codes and Keywords
(underlined and in bold letters). Supporting Sentences and Statement can be used and combined to form
a coherent and more comprehensive Review of Related Literature. Do not forget to cite respective
references from which each Axial Codes came from.
