**MOA = 3.75% per Assignment - MRR (x 4 Assignments) + 15% Major Exam (3 Parts) = 30%
MOA = Mediating Outcomes Assessment – (Assignments - MRR and Major Exam) are transitional outcomes that bridge
foundational and ultimate outcomes of the course. These outcomes perform two important
functions: (1) Concretize learnings gained from each topic covered; these assessments act as
supplemental measures in addition to quizzes and exercises. (2) Prepare learners to the
succeeding topics.
***UOA = 10% Final Project Individual + 10% Final Exam + 20% Final Project Group = 40%
UOA = Ultimate Outcomes Assessment – (Final Projects: Individual and Group) are the culminating demonstrations of the
desired outcomes of the course. This outcomes assessment covers and integrates all the
learning elements in foundational and mediating outcomes. This fundamentally employs
authentic assessment requiring learners to perform or demonstrate (behavioral) tasks that
indicate successful acquisition of desired learning outcomes.
