PrimeShip Steel Coil Loading

Version 1.03

This program has been developed for the ship owners, managing companies and ship masters to
serve the purpose of easy evaluation of local strength against steel coil loading that are not being
covered by the ships' loading manual. It alsojustifies whether the condition satisfies Rule
requirements or not. This programis restricted to calculate local strength only and shall NOT be used
for any other purposes.

In any cases, restrictions of longitudinal strength, stability and double bottomstrength given by loading
manual, stability information booklet and loading computer are to be observed.

This program does not cover Bulk Carriers designed under common structural Rule.

【Introduction】
This program has been developed for the ship owners, managing companies and ship masters to
serve the purpose of easy evaluation of local strength against steel coil loading that are not being
covered by the ships’ loading manual. It also justifies whether the condition satisfies Rule
requirements or not. This program is restricted to calculate local strength only and shall NOT be
used for any other purposes.

【Operating System】

【Attention】
This program is premised on that the Windows system is in operation stably.
While using this system, it is requested to change the security level for macro virus protection to
"Medium".

【Instruction】
1 The Excel file is made up to the following 7 (or 8, in case of ship type B or C) sheets. Normally
one can use this program by filling up the following sheets according to the instructions.

stiffeners. In case where any longitudinal strength data is unknown, do not

【概要】
このプログラムは、船主、船舶管理会社及び船長が、ローディングマニュアルに記載されていないスチ
ールコイルの積み付け方法に対し、各部材が規則要求値を満足するかどうかをチェックすることを目的
として開発されたものであり、それ以外の用途に使用することはできません。
いかなる場合も、承認されたローディングマニュアル、復原性資料及び積み付け計算機より定められる
縦強度、復原性及び二重底強度は満足しなければなりません。
このプログラムは、共通構造規則(CSR)にて設計された船舶はカバーされておりません。

【動作環境】
Microsoft Windows XP (推奨)
Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (推奨)

【注意】
このプログラムは、Windowsが正常に作動していることを前提としています。また、このプログラムを使
用する際は、パソコンのセキュリティレベルを“中”に設定する必要があります。

【使用方法】
1 このプログラムは、以下の7シート(ship typeがB又はCの場合は8シート)で構成されています。通
常は、事項より示す入力方法に従い各シートのパラメーターを入力していくことで使用できます。
