Precautions and procedures
We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure that our building and staff are safe and ready to
welcome back small groups of students. The school building, all classrooms, restrooms and the health
room will be disinfected at regular intervals during the day. Furthermore, for the health and safety of
teachers and students, the following precautions and procedures will be observed:

• Students must come to school wearing a mask. It is recommended that they wear it at all times; if
for any reason a student experiences discomfort wearing a mask, they may take it off with the
permission of the teacher.
• Reporting time is 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. Punctuality is essential. Please
ensure your child picked up promptly. Due to safety concerns, we cannot have students on the
campus before or after their classes.
• All students will be screened for temperature at the school gate. The school doctor will be
available at the premises at all times.
• If your child is experiencing any symptoms of COVID, please do not send them to school.
Furthermore, if anyone in contact with your child has travelled in the past two weeks or is
experiencing symptoms of COVID, please inform the school.
•

• Students will wear their school uniform for all in-person classes and sports uniform for modules.
• Children will wait in a designated area under the supervision of a staff member before they are
sent to their classrooms.
• We recommend that your child has eaten and used the washroom before coming to school to
reduce their movement around the building.
• There will be break/snack time according to the schedule attached. Children will remain in their
classrooms during this time. Children must bring their own water bottles, stationery and
sanitizers. No items can be shared.
• Hand sanitizers will be placed throughout the building. Students must sanitize their hands before
entering the classroom.
• Classrooms will be well-ventilated and seating arrangements will be such that distance is
maintained between each desk.
• At the end of each day, students will exit the building with physical distance maintained. They
will wait in the designated waiting area for their parents / drivers to pick them up.
• The van service will remain suspended.
