ACTIVITY 3
Upon having this kind of course, I was able to stumble on enormous lessons and
enlightenment. FCL became a channel to convey valuable lessons and it nourishes
and reinforces my Faith as a Christian. Through this, little by little I’m having
realizations of following the footsteps of the Founders by being Helper of God
through providing assistance and responding to the needs of the people.
There are four (4) identified pillars of FCL and these are the following: Christian in
Living, Catholic in Doctrine, Filipino in Character and Perpetualite in Virtue. The
Vertical beam represents our Relationship to God hence, we must live our lives
abiding to the Catholic Doctrine that will then assert that we are indeed living as a
Christian. The Horizontal beam represents our relationship to the People and to our
Environment as well, therefore, we must not rely solely to our Character as Filipino
but we must put our identity as a Perpetualite as our recognized virtue as well upon
interacting to the others and everything.
The kind of Identity I possess as a Perpetualite and the knowledge I uphold and I
manifests to my everyday living provides me a valid ground to stand on that I am a
holistic Perpetualite student who carries the image of Perpetual in the basis of my
Intellectual capacity, behavior, sensitivity to my surrounding and so forth.
