Please read this OWNER'S MANUAL thoroughly to familiarize yourself with each control and function. We at
R ALPINE hope that your new MRV-F505/MRV-F405/MRV-F305 will give you many years of listening enjoyment.
In case of problems when installing your MRV-F505/MRV-F405/MRV-F305, please contact your authorized
ALPINE dealer.
CAUTION: These controls are for tuning your system. Please consult your authorized Dealer for adjust-
ment.
PRECAUTIONS
• Perform the installation at a location that is level. Make sure the parking brake is on and the
ignition is OFF.
• Always disconnect the cable from the (–) negative pole of the battery before connecting or
disconnecting the MRV-F505/MRV-F405/MRV-F305. This will prevent the possibility of short
circuits.
• When replacing a blown fuse make sure to replace it with one of the same value.
• Be sure to connect the color coded leads according to the diagram. Incorrect connections may

Be sure to connect the speaker (–) leads to the speaker (–) terminal. Never connect left and right

This unit is designed for 12 VDC, negative ground systems. Make sure that your vehicle has this
type of electrical system before connecting the power cable.

In the bridged mode, connect the left positive to the
positive terminal on the speaker and the right negative
to the negative terminal of the speaker. Do not use the
speaker (–) terminals as a common lead between the
