1. Why are you pursuing your course right now?

- I’m taking Hospitality Management

2. In your own words, what is Science, Technology, and Society?

(Clue: You may try to define each term, then interrelate each word.)
- For me, STS or Science, Technology, and Society is something about
how the technology affects the society or humans that can change their
customary. And how the technology develops.

3. What do you think is the significance of STS in your course?

- It has a lot of significance, one of that technology. We all know that this
generation is all about technology. Technology can help to develop the
way the hotel function. An example of this is the security of the guest's
luggage and confidentiality.

technology along with social considerations in the world. Based on your
observation and comparison to the historical antecedents shown, does our
country advance well in Science, Technology, and Society?
- Yes, because people nowadays are more on technology and they think
that technology can help them to make their job more easier.

5. In the face of pandemic (Covid-19), what is the effect of the paradigm shift
in Science and Technology on Society? You may cite specific scenarios
and examples to strengthen your point of view.
- During the pandemic, many workers' work-life balance collapsed.
Employees who are "essential" and "non-essential" have become a
topic of discussion in companies and wider society. Work and family life
collided despite best practices, preferences, and in some cases
practicalities, as many non-essential and even essential people were
required to work from home. Employees were often obliged to figure out
how to perform well at home while dealing with these new expectations,
as well as the additional stress and anxiety brought on by a lack of tools
or training to assist them in making this shift. In furthermore, other
member of their relatives have had to figure out how to survive while
somebody else works part time.
