1. OBJECTIVE
This document covers the Temporary Security Fence works for the camp area as a part of the site
mobilization at the project site Zubier Mishrif DGS Electrical integration
2. Purpose
The purpose of this document is to follow proper methodology and to carry out the activities in
sequence for the installation of Temporary Security Fence.
3. SCOPE
The scope of the work includes levelling, excavation and installation of temporary security fence
works for the camp installation. This Works Method details the followings,

6. RESPONSIBILITY
Construction Manager
The works will be conducted under the responsibility of the construction manager, and of the site
preparation contractors.
Follow up the installation of Temporary Security Fence to ensure good conditions to start
the work.
Ensure no obstacles block the installation location.
Supervise civil, electrical and mechanical foremen throughout the preparation, installation
and finishing the process.
Assist in the investigation of every serious or fatal accident and dangerous occurrence and
Recommend preventive measures.
Ensure that method statements, hazard analysis and safe work procedures for hazardous
are considered throughout the site works.
HSE Supervisor:
Ensure proper implementation of the Company's environmental, health and safety
management system.
Review all related documents such as work permit and safety procedures.
Each day shall start with a TBT (Tool Box Talk).
Inspect PPE to ensure all workers have correct PPE and in good condition.
Inspect tools to ensure the correct tools are available and in good condition .
Establish and maintain a programmer for the identification and assessment of hazards.
Maintain satisfactory standards of housekeeping in his assigned area.
Ensure that all workers working in his area use the appropriate personal protective
equipment.
Foremen:
Familiar himself with the Company's environmental, health and safety management system.
Supervise all workers and related communications.
Ensure proper implementation of the engineering instructions.
Review any new or changes in processes, equipment and materials to ensure proper with
workers.
Workers:
Qualified and trained workers are assigned to the project.
Comply with work instructions and permits.
Inspect all tools before use and on a daily basis.
Complying with HSE requirements, which apply to an individual’s work activities.
Keeping the work area in an orderly condition.

- The number of tools and equipment shall be adjusted accordingly based on work volume and
requirement.

- The capacity and quantity of the above manpower is able to increase in accordance with work condition
and requirements.
9. Work sequence
Elevation of ground level shall be checked to ensure correct position / elevation
Mark the ground line of the posts With crayon or chalk,
Manual and Machinery excavation work must be carried out safely for every 3m once.
Drilled hole shall be checked and remove loose collapsed soil if required.
Drilled holes shall be barricaded after every 5 drilled holes (combine 5 holes per barricade)
made of well compacted grade prior to installing.
The maximum depth of the excavation is 300mm
Pre-fabricated poles should be placed in the excavation and refilled again with concrete.
Bracings shall be provided at each corner and every 10 poles .
Chain link wire shall be installed when concrete has hardened firmly; the poles have been
inspected and accepted that the Concrete achieved the required strength prior to
installation of chain link wire
The sequence of fence installation will be:
Post installation → Bracing installation → Stretcher bar installation → Chain link fabric
installation → Gate installation.
Labour who will install razor wire / barbed wire need to equip PPE such as eye protection,
gloves etc
Barbed wire shall be fixed on the Y-shape bar firmly. Loosely installed barbed wire shall not
be acceptable
Uncoil the razor wire on the ground then load the uncoiled razor wire to the Y-shape bar
uniformly. Uncoiled razor wire shall be fixed to the Y-shape bar firmly. Repeat this process
on the top of the fence
Acceptable access platforms shall be provided to safety install the razor wire
