4419 Operational Risk Specialist
Summary
Responsible for identifying, analyzing and evaluating of non-clinical and non-medical operational risks associated
with the Organization’s business activity, and assisting risk owners, in coordination with risk champions, to
develop risk treatment plans.
2. Conducts workshops with the Organization’s entities risk owners to identify, analyze and evaluate non-clinical
and non-medical operational risks.
3. Assists risk owners in developing risk treatment plans, in coordination with risk champions, and in line with
risk appetite set limits.
4. Updates Risk Register with the emerging operational risks and maps these risks to concerned Organization’s
entities.
5. Coordinates with Quality Management Department for the reporting purposes of clinical and medical risks.
6. Assists in the development and updates of the Organization’s risk universe and risk appetite, as well as
developing the Annual Risk Assessment Plan.
7. Continuously monitors the exposure level to non-clinical and non-medical operational risks that are within the
risk limits set in the risk appetite.
8. Develops key risk indicators for significant operational risks and monitors their readings to ensure that risks
are managed within the limits set in risk appetite.
9. Prepares and provides periodic reports in relation to non-clinical and non-medical operational risks.
10. Maintains all documents, plans and records related to operational risks in accordance with the standards
followed by the Organization.
12. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.
Job Requirements
Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in in Finance, Accounting, Business
Education Administration, Law, or other related discipline is required.
