Meet the Speakers 2021 Dr. K. Kasturirangan Chancellor, Central University of Rajasthan; Chairman, Governing Board, Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA); Chairperson, NIIT University, Neemrana; Member, Atomic Energy Commission, Emeritus Professor at National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore and Honorary Distinguished Advisor, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He was the Chairman of the Committee that drafted the new National Education Policy. He has won several awards and has been conferred with the highest civilian honours Padma Shri (1982), Padma Bhushan (1992) and Padma Vibhushan (2000) by the President of India.
Dr. Leena Chandran Wadia
Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), Mumbai, and also Professor and Head of Vocational Education Programmes at The University of Trans- disciplinary Health Science and Technology (TDU), Bangalore. Dr. Wadia has contributed to the preparation of India’s Draft National Education Policy 2019, as a member of the technical secretariat to the Dr Kasturirangan committee, and as a member of the drafting committee of the policy.

Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) and Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, and an elected member of the ACM India Council. Dr Kumar was a member of the Technical Secretariat to the Kasturirangan Committee to draft the National Education Policy, with specific inputs on policies related to Educational Technology.
