Shree Bhupendra told the participants about the scheme of the government which is related to

the department of horticulture. This scheme talks about the benefits of the vegetables and
flowers grown in a pali house. He motivates the listeners to set up pali house. He also tells
them that everyone in the village should grow vegetables other than the seasonal vegetables
so that they can sell them at higher prices.
Shreemati Smita tells the panel that she grew marigold flower and that there was too much
profit in it.
My name is Smita and I am a resident of this village. I am from Jineth village panchayat and I
am the head of the Laxmi group. I was motivated to grow marigold by the reliance
foundation. My coworkers who helped me to grow these and sell it in the market were
Manisha Devi, Nirmala and Bhajan Lal. All of them gained 20 to 25 thousand by this. Now
they plan to grow the Gladiola flower given by the Reliance Foundation.
ROUND 3:
Financial Literacy ( Banking )
In this round Master Rekha Pundir tells the group the process of linking the group to the
bank. She talks about the process of opening a bank account after the group has been formed
and there is no account in the bank. Talks about the days needed o open the bank account,
how to take the loan from the bank, how to return the loan, and how to apply for loan. She
also informed them how then can apply for the loan for the group as a whole and how they
can apply for loan individually. During the training the participants were taught how to fill a
cheque.
