Writing and teaching writing

Introduction

In this new course, we enter the subject of advanced writing of English, here we will be
able to deepen in English is written and how we process it adequately to the understanding
of people counting on the different factors so that this happens in the best way.

In the first chapter, topics will be reviewed to introduce us little by little to the subject, such
as the concepts of teaching writing, structures, text functions, to name a few.

Here we talk about a more pedagogical point of view and gives several concepts and data
that can help us when teaching and of course learning about the writing of the language.

This chapter is of great help since it shows us some topics that we have not been able to see
in other subjects in previous courses.

It allows us to provide feedback and have a better knowledge of the different points that he
mentions since it is something very important to keep in mind for a teacher or even a future
translator.

Development

The first thing we can see from this chapter is that it is said that writing teachers can not
only be based on their experience but also have to be based on the theories studied,
everything that a teacher tests in the classroom has to be guided by practical and theoretical
knowledge and based on that, teaching can be much more effective.

There are many theories that change or evolve over the years, but it is important to take
them into account and study them since each one has different approaches, and the
information can help us develop a good writing method and be able to transmit it properly.

It is also mentioned that writing can be seen as a mark on paper or a coherent arrangement
of words that are based on a system of grammar rules that must be taken into account.

If we see it this way, people who learn a second language have to have knowledge of it
both grammatically and linguistically.

It is mentioned that it is important that writing students choose topics of interest since they
will have knowledge of them and will be able to write in a meaningful way, which can be
helpful to initiate or reinforce writing learning.

This helps teachers a lot to be able to better transmit the knowledge of writing, it is also
mentioned that if it focuses on the content, they can be adapted to the different levels that
the students have, this varies by the competences that the students have. The way in which
it is sent depends on the level of knowledge that the students have and obviously the
difficulty increases with the more knowledge they have.

Conclusion

Many of the things that this chapter mentions can be said that we already knew them or at
least we had a basic knowledge of them, but it is very important to delve deeper into these
issues as they are very important because in our career are issues that will be necessary to
know, in my opinion those who can take advantage of several of the aspects that are taken
into account are the teachers or future teachers because that can help them aide or modify
the different ways to present to their students. I think the ones who can take advantage of
several of the aspects that are taken into account are the teachers or future teachers because
it can help them to help or modify the different ways of presenting the subject of writing to
their students and it can be much easier for them and for them it can be much more
entertaining.

This subject will be something extremely interesting because it will test the knowledge, we
have both in writing and grammar and will help us to improve little by little as the chapters
go by, so it will be important to pay as much attention as possible because it is an
opportunity that should not be missed, especially in the semester we are in.
