CORRUPTION-FREE IN THE PHILIPPINES

"Corruption is like a ball of snow, once it sets rolling it must increase."

Corruption refers to a form of criminal activity or dishonesty. It refers to an evil act by an

individual or a group. Most noteworthy, this act compromises the rights and privileges of others.
Furthermore, corruption primarily includes activities like bribery or embezzlement. However,
corruption can take place in many ways. Most probably, people in positions of authority are
susceptible to corruption. Corruption certainly reflects greedy and selfish behavior. First of all,
Bribery is the most common method of corruption. Bribery involves the improper use of favors
and gifts in exchange for personal gain. Furthermore, the types of favors are diverse. Above all,
the favors include money, gifts, company shares, sexual favors, employment, entertainment,
and political benefits. Also, personal gain can be giving preferential treatment and overlooking
crime. Did you ever think that the Philippines will be free of corruption?

In my own perspective, the Philippines will not be free of corruption but I'm hoping that it
will reduce. Because corruption is a very old problem in our country it is still a big problem until
now. A lot of people suffer in poverty because of corruption, poverty is the number one problem
in the Philippines wherein the funds of the government are not properly managed and spent. All
taxes paid by the Filipinos just to go to the pockets of our corrupt leaders. Due to this corruption,
many children did not get the right education that they deserve and this also leads to the
worsening case of poverty. A lot of children want to go to school to study and learn but because
of poverty, they didn’t get it. In a government corruption will not disappear a lot of people want to
be part of politics because they want to corrupt the money of people. It is sad to think that it is
the mindset of politicians that they did not think of the people who will suffer in their wrong
doings, they think of their own success.

The Philippines if the corruption will reduce the people and the delicacies will upgrade
economic development and the people will no longer have a chance to work in the other places
in order to live. These will happen if the leaders of the government will take charge with honesty
and faithfully the country and no one will say that the Philippines has corruption. However, the
dream of the countrymen has good sources of food and different facilities so that the
environment will grow more and prosper and no one will get in touch with sickness and all the
people will live in peace and harmony no one will pull down like people ``crab mentality." This
should happen so that we have treasured or the next generation we can tell to our
grandsons/daughters will also hear and experience the memories that the Philippines is
corruption free.

While growing up in this country I've witnessed how our politicians corrupt the money of the
people. As a youth in our country I'm hoping that corruption will be reduced for the people who
are suffering in poverty. If corruption is reduced, our country will be better and will become rich.
