All the models can be powered by external adapter or internal battery. Model XN-2219MI1, XN-2219M2, XN-2223M1, XN- 2223M2 and XN-2212M2 have internal rechargeable ithium baltery and can be poweredicharged by external ‘adapter (model GEO181UB-1015 for US plug/ model GEO151T-1015 for EU).
