current.

2. Cable is an assembly of one or more wires running side by side or bundled, which is used to
carry electric current.
 Busway- is a prefabricated electrical distribution system consisting of bus bars in a
protective enclosure, including straight lengths, fittings, devices and accessories.
Busway transports electricity and connects to electrical gear such as switchgear,
panelboards and transformers.

3. Cable Bus-  is an assembly of insulated cable conductors designed as a system to

transmit electrical current and to withstand the effects of specified system requirements,
such as short-circuit current, circuit loading, bonding, with fittings and etc.
4. Raceway- are channels or wiring accessories so designed for holding wires, cables and
bus bars that are either made of metal, plastic, or any insulating medium

5. Junction Box- also known as a "jbox") is an enclosure housing electrical connections.

Junction boxes protect the electrical connections from the weather, as well as prevent
people from accidental electric shocks.
6. Utility box- are used for convenience outlets, switch boxes or small junction boxes. They
are popular for exposed work applications (surface mounted wiring). Raised ground
screw provides easier access and prevents the ground screw from protruding beyond
the bottom of the box when tightened.
