Evidence: My favorite player

Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a striker
and is considered one of the best strikers in the world of football. He was born in
Funchal, Madeira on February 5, 1985, and is the son of María Dolores dos Santos
Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. Since he was a child, he always showed his good
performance in soccer and stood out for his ability with the ball.

Cristiano Ronaldo is my favorite athlete because he is the all-time top scorer in UEFA
club competition with 137 goals in 15,793 minutes, a goal every 115 minutes and 17
seconds. He continues to provoke fear in his rivals.
He grew up in a working-class neighborhood and was discovered at the age of ten by
Sporting Lisbon, Cristiano Ronaldo at that time playing for the modest Andorinha, a club
in his native Funchal where his father worked as a utility man. Four years later, he
agreed with his mother to dedicate himself exclusively to soccer.

Then Ronaldo went to Nacional and six months later he transferred Cristiano's rights. In
2001, the first team coach, Romanian Laszlo Boloni, wanted him to make his debut that
same year, but a test advised against him for not being sufficiently worked. A year later
he made him debut in the Champions League preview against Inter.

He is considered one of the best soccer players in the world and one of the most media
sportsmen. Ronaldo was honored with the Best Premier League Player award in 2007
and 2008, as well as Portuguese Sportsman of the Year. In the 2007-08 season he was
awarded the Golden Boot, the Ballon d'Or, and the FIFA World Player in 2008.

Ronaldo overcame huge obstacles before becoming a star. He was born into a humble
family and since he was a child, he wanted to reach the top by working. A heart
operation could cut his projection but today he is the best of all time in football.
