 Art appreciation is a way to express ideas and allows individuals to illustrate their
feelings when they view an artwork.

 Research the piece, know the artist’s work, look at many of his pieces,
compare signatures, get close-ups of the signature. Increasing your
knowledge is critical to examining the piece and knowing what to look for

Last Supper, also called Lord’s Supper, in the New Testament, the final
meal shared by Jesus and his disciples in an upper room in Jerusalem, the
occasion of the institution of the Eucharist. The story of the Last Supper on
the night before Christ’s crucifixion is reported in four books of the New
Testament (Matthew 26:17–29; Mark 14:12–25; Luke 22:7–38; and I

the Apostles demonstrate that early Christians believed that this institution

The main function of da Vinci’s Last Supper would be to depict the story of
Christ announcing to his disciples that one of them will betray him. It also
functions to represent the serenity and power of Jesus compared to the
chaos and emotion of humans.
