How: Viktor wants to not only study Kindred lore,
but also test his own capabilities and needs.
Apart from that, he wants to expand his options
widely, from occultism to powers ingrained in the
curse and its different forms.
He’ll try to get in the good wills of scholars,
hoping to see their libraries while also doing
some light research on his own. He is particularly
interested in Lasombra; their Abyss Mysticism
seems very dangerous, but very useful.

To ask why and take
revenge upon the monster that ruined his life if
he’s able, or get in their good graces for survival’s
sake.
How: Tracking Sabbat and Lasombra activity in
New Orleans, making connections that might be
aware of such things, and perhaps even trying to
reconstruct his memories and see if that helps.
Hopefully his vampiric nature could be of use, or
maybe some occult practices. It’d be much
simpler if this was something he didn’t have to do
alone. No one must find out.
Goals:

How: The Casino was his first idea; a place where
Kindred could bet, however, that is no longer the
main focus. He needs to offer something others
would want – a place to gather, his own abilities,
and favors he has already amassed for example.
This means Viktor will have to spend a lot of his
time assisting others instead of pursuing his own
goals, especially to members of the Tower. He
doesn’t know what to offer, however, seeing as
his abilities must remain hidden.
Improve his
position / status
Why: Lack of control means certain death,
especially in scenarios like this. His loyalties are
already forced as it is.
How: Not overextending, not promising too
many favors, taking only calculated risks are a
start. Amassing boons and laying relatively low
until he can safely make a name of himself is also
good, although such a time is better sooner than
later.
However, keeping others close is crucial, knowing
what is happening and being constantly updated
on the situation. They must be kept at a distance
too. He’s as good as gone should anyone find out.
