1. How do you define Literature?

I define literature as some written record of people’s thoughts that portrayed by the
writers and feelings from past to the current day. I can also say that literature is an
excellent writing that help us to know that people from different times and countries
have. We can free our imaginations by reading and understanding some literary
works from fiction and non-fiction. Connecting us to people have feelings that some
of us can relate to. __________________________________________________
2. Why is there a need to study Literature especifically “World Literature?”
We need to study the World Literature to understand deeper meaning of what the
authors wants to say to the readers and gives us the knowledge and the beauty of
its language. It is also important so we can understand different feelings as we
appreciate every part of the lines, the rhymes and the hidden style or ideas. Which
gives us excitement as we keep on studying every part of it that leads us to different
world or brought us to some places that we haven’t thought of going to. ________
3. How important is language in shaping literature? In this contemporary time, does
being proficient in language like the English language matter in Literature classes?
Why or why not?
For us students, language is a way on shaping the literature to give us an
improvement on our summarization skills in different literary works that we are
about to read. It is significant to be capable in the language and have to train well
so we can express what we understand in the piece and to know the deeper
meaning of the works of what the authors wants to portray. It is delightful to
understand the language English because we can connect to different countries
and can understand their culture.______________________________________
4. With the presence of Covid-19, what contributions can you possibly give as a
literature student? Cite examples.
The contribution that I can give as a literature student is to follow health protocol
like wearing facemask, face shield and maintain social distancing for about one to
two meters. Get vaccinated to set an example to others that they don’t need to be
afraid about the rumors of the vaccine. Stay at home and only go outside when
