them appear attractive and inviting; some do not. Some are old; some are new. In
viewing those creations, we are sometimes concerned when was that created and
which one was the oldest. Just like the history of our nation, art also has a history.

What is art history?

The history of art focuses on objects made by human in visual form for aesthetic
purposes. It is often told as a chronology of masterpieces created during each
civilization. It can thus be framed as a story of high culture epitomized by the Wonders
of the world.

On the other hand, vernacular art expressions can also be integrated into art
historical narratives referred to as folk arts or crafts.

What is Art appreciation?

Art appreciation is the knowledge and understanding of the universal and

timeless qualities that identify all great art. It is also an exploration of visual art forms
and cultural connections for the students with little experience with the visual arts.
The more you appreciate and understand the art of different eras, movements,
styles and techniques, the better you can develop, evaluate and improve your own art
work. Art is created because of man’s creativity.

What is art creativity?

Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to

find hidden patterns, to make connection between seemingly unrelated phenomena to
generate solutions.

Creative arts refers to participation in a range of activities that allow for creative
