Dear Mr. Ryan,

During my internship managing customer relations at lucas Corp. I realized that carefully
planned policies often fail to live up to their promise due to poor execution. That seems
wastefull to me. That’s why I whould like to help make policy and regulations in the Los Angeles
more effective as a consultant at Exo corp.
I believe I have all the qualities this position requires. I’m not only passionate about my
chosen field, but I also have experience performing statistical analyses with tools like SPSS and
Excel. I’m a good communicator and gained experience in project-based working methods
during my internship at Lucas Corp. I’m also quite good at jus generally getting things done.
During the aforementioned internship, for instance, Iintroduced a new medium for
communicating with our customer. It was immediatelty implemented and was well-received by
the affected customers and staff.
My co-workers and fellow students have describe me as analytical and ambitious.
Someone who focuses on results. I feel these characteristics make me a good match for your
company, its goal of results you can build on, and its specialization in the areas of quantitative
policy analysis and process optimization. Both have qualitative aspects, which is what attracted
me to the position; I believe you need both to get the complete picture. I learned to combine
those two aspects during my study of occupational psychology and my internship at Lucas corp.
I also learned a lot about policy and change in organisations. I’m excited to put this knowledge
to practical use as a junior consultant.
I’m convinced that my focus on results, my highly current professional skills and my
relevant work experience make me a suitable candidate for the position. I look forward to the
