Cheque bouncing

1. chq ret/rtn/rej
2. chq dishonour
3. Do not consider those bouncing as bouncing in which any other reason is mentioned like connective
failure, signature mismatch, stale chq, post-dated chq etc.
4. If any bounced chq is getting cleared within 7 days then Chq number, narration and amount should be
same. If the chq number is not mentioned, then narration and amount should be the same.
5. Only inward bouncing (which is the liability of the applicant) to be considered as bouncing.
6. Those bouncing should be considered as bouncing in which reason mentioned is FUND INSUFFICENT/
EXCEED ARRANGEMENT or nothing is mentioned.
7. Do not consider those chq bouncing or NACH/ECS rtn as bouncing in which the particular transaction
is not customer's liability. E.g. bouncing of LIC chq, EMI bouncing of just dial and India mart.
8. For PDF format bank statement, use following keywords for finding EMI/ chq bouncing: RET, RTN, REJ,
EMI, ECS, ACH, DIS, LOAN.
9. If any bouncing is getting cleared within 7 days, then it should not be considered as bouncing.
10. Bouncing should be counted in the month in which it is bounced and not in the month in which
bouncing charges are getting deducted.
11. If there is any chq/ EMI bounce on 1st day of month and then the same gets bounced again on 8th
day and gets cleared on 10th of month then we count it as 1 bounce

EMI bouncing

1. In EMI bouncing, clearance of EMI should be checked from the due date of the EMI. E.g. EMI due date
is 1st and the NACH got bounced on 1st & 4th of the month, and the same got cleared on 8th, then 2
bouncing would be considered as the EMI has bounced twice and got paid after 7 days from the due
date that is 1st of the month.

EMI debit

1. If there is loan amount credited in banking, then a new EMI will start from next month onwards.
Calculation of EMI is as per the policy if the same is not getting debited from the banking.
2. In case of CC or OD account, consider its interest as EMI.
3. If there is loan amount credited in the last month then we should take 3% of loan amount as EMI. In
case of housing loan and gold loan its 1 % of loan amount.
4. If the complete banking of the latest month is not present and in the previous month, any EMI is
getting deducted but is not reflecting in the latest month banking due to incomplete banking then
previous month's EMI should also be considered in current EMI.
5. In the last month, all the EMI should be added irrespective of the deduction.
6. NACH/ECS IIL should not be considered as EMI it's SIP payment

Business Credits

1. In the saving account, don't count any amount in credit which is received either from individual
person or from applicant's company.
2. In the current account, we should not count any amount which is received from applicant or
applicant's family. We can differentiate family by surname in case if unique surnames like joshi, bisht,
negi,saini, etc.
3. Any amount which can be confirmed that doesn't belong to applicant's business income, it should not
be considered in credit. e.g. refund, LIC amount, Mutual fund amount, rent, money from family &
friends etc.
4. In the case of two bank statements if there is any internal transfer then that should not be considered
in banking credit.
5. Loan amount should not be count in credit.
6. Any return amount should not count in credit, Ex: Chq return, NEFT/ RTGS return, IMPS return, Cash
Reversal, ACH/ECS/ EMI return.
7. Any amount credited with the narration of "sweep transfer" should not be considered as credit.
8. All the business-related credits to be considered as credit amount.
9. Cash to be considered as business credit. In case of any concern related to cash deposit, understand
the same from the applicant before considering it in business credit.
10. Credits by name of LIC, Mutual fund, any refund, Salary, GST refund, Unregistered transactions,
Cheque, IMPS, NEFT or any reversal transaction not to be consider as credits
11. card less deposit is business credit
12. credit from EKO INDIA FINANCIAL is a normal business credit
