HyaCare®
The world’s first hyaluronic acid produced without
the use of animal-derived raw materials or organic
solvents. Produced from the safe bacterial strain
Bacillus subtilis, HyaCare has applications in drug
targeting, drug formulation, and medical devices.
Recombumin®
Recombumin (rAlbumin Human USP-NF*) is the
world’s first and only commercially available,
GMP-manufactured, animal-free, recombinant
human albumin developed as a drug and vaccine
excipient. Recombumin offers the benefits of
albumin in a GMP, regulatory-friendly package and
is supplied exclusively for use as an excipient or as
a critical drug manufacturing ingredient. Used in
the manufacture of an FDA and EMEA approved
childhood vaccine (M-M-R™ II from Merck & Co),
Recombumin is also currently being evaluated as
an ingredient in a number of products undergoing
clinical development in the US and EU.

albucult®
Designed with stringent quality requirements
in mind, albucult (rAlbumin Human USP-NF*)
is a recombinant human albumin developed
and supplied for use as a bulk drug or device
manufacturing ingredient, or for use in advanced
cell therapy products. albucult delivers quality
and unprecedented performance benefits to our
customers’ applications, including device coating,
IVF media and specialist cell culture applications. As
with Recombumin, albucult is GMP-manufactured
from our proprietary Saccharomyces cerevisiae
(baker’s yeast) expression technology in an animal-
free facility.
albufuse®
Novozymes’ albumin fusion technology is a
natural alternative to PEGylation. Our proprietary
technology allows the molecular fusion of albumin
to protein drug candidates for improved half-life
and bioavailability. albufuse reduces dose frequency
requirement and side effects. Combine albufuse
with our yeast expression technologies and
cGMP/Q7-manufacturing services to maximize
the benefits of working with us.
CellPrime® rAlbumin AF-S and AF-G
Animal-free, recombinant human albumin for cell
culture. Available in two grades for industrial
(AF-G) and specialized (AF-S) cell culture
applications, this product delivers all the benefits of
albumin in cell culture, including the maintenance
of osmotic balance and transport, plus consistent
and compliant distribution of important ligands.

CellPrime® rTransferrin AF
A superior, animal-free recombinant analog of
transferrin, CellPrime rTransferrin AF provides
demonstrable benefits over current plasma-derived
alternatives, and its inherent versatility makes
it suitable for both research and commercial
mammalian cell cultures. A Millipore alliance
product for smarter cell culture.
LONG®R3IGF-I
A highly potent and effective cGMP alternative to
recombinant insulin for cell culture applications.
LONGR3IGF-I has been specifically engineered for
serum-free cell culture supplementation, to improve
process efficiency without compromising on safety
or compliance.
