COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A comprehensive study of the legal framework surrounding: (a) the creation, powers,
and effects of actions of administrative agencies; (b) the qualifications, rights, duties,
liabilities of public officers and their separation from service; (c) suffrage, the
qualifications and rights of voters, candidates, the powers of the Commission on
Elections, as well as the various election actions and remedies; and (d) the creation,
powers, and effects of actions of local government units.

COURSE GOALS: Expected College of Law Graduate Attributes (ELGAs)

Know and understand the relevant provisions of the 1987 Constitution, the
Administrative Code, the Omnibus Election Code and various election laws, and the
Local Government Code, memorize provisions, critical and analytical thinking, effective
in written and oral communication, logical reasoning, and sound judgment, exercise of
proper professional and ethical responsibilities.

Upon completion of the Administrative Law, Law of Public Officers, Election Law and Law of
Public Corporations course, the student is expected to be able to:
