Policy:

To insure that you have sufficient time for your opening duties.
To avoid any short time on your roster.
To participate in a daily morning briefing.

Procedure:

Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all employees.


It helps to ensure adequate staffing, positive employee morale, and to meet expected productivity
standards throughout the hotel, you will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace
schedule.
When you are unable to meet this expectation, you must obtain approval from your supervisor in
advance of any requested schedule changes.
Whenever you encounter a problem that hinders you to show up on your duty, you must report
to your supervisor in advance as per the hotel’s policy.
Failing to report at your work area in time will be considered as lateness. Missing your daily
briefing will be considered as lateness.
Have a clean haircut for men and tie well your hair for women.
Appear at your station wearing your clean, well-ironed uniform and polished black shoes. Your
socks must also be black.
Avoid wearing half uniforms, wear and tears, uniforms with missing buttons etc.
You must punch in after showering, shaving and wearing your complete uniform.
Even though you are present at your working station, you could be considered late or absent as
the attendance will be controlled by the administrator.
You must be at your briefing room five to ten minutes in advance.
You must ask for any update (from your briefing) if you justifiably miss your briefing.
You must show up at your work place with a complete mental and physical health condition.
Avoid any negative thoughts and moods to come with at your work area, as they would disturb
your efficiency.
Show up with a positive energy, as it would shape your day.
Always keep a notebook and a pen to jot down any relevant point that you hear at briefing.
