Title: Area of an irregularly shaped object

Aim: To determine the area of an irregularly shaped object.

Materials: Graph Paper, Pencil

Procedure:
1. Place a graph paper on a flat surface.
2. Place a hand on the graph paper and trace the outline.
3. Count the number of 1cm squares inside the outline. {squares that are half or more are
counted as one.}
