Activity 1
Read and analyze the poem and answer the questions afterwards. Write your answers on
the space provided.

1. What is the poem all about?
The poem is all about the “ESSENCE OF COMMUNICATION”.

2. Who or what do you think is being referred to as the “YOU” in the poem?

3. How did the speaker describe the “YOU” in the poem? Give as many descriptions
as possible.
If you can see, the speaker defined “YOU” as a friend where always been there, a
companion, and an essential herald who makes the life way more fun and pleasant.

4. How does the poem relate to the lesson?


It both tackles about communication.

Activity 2
Introduce yourself within 1 minute. Take a video of yourself and watch it afterwards.
Then, take a video of yourself again saying the same words. But this time without a time
limit. Compare the two videos. Write your answers on the space provided.

As you watch the videos, answer the following questions:


1. Did you understand what you were saying?
In the first video, I can’t barely understand the words that I’m stating due to time limit, But when I tried
speaking without any limit, I can really and wholeheartedly express myself because I am not cramming
at all.

2. Which one was easy to understand? Why do you think so?


It is way easier to understand my second video, probably because I’m speaking calmly and the words
that are coming out from my mouth are clear and understandable enough.

3. What are the advantages of talking fast and talking slowly?


First, talking fast is essential when you are running after time and it emmits the radiation of being
confidence and superiorly knowledgeable. While talking slowly gives your word more authority and it
makes you sound more delinquent and professional.

4. What do you think is communication?


Communication works through sending and receiving informations from one person to another.
