General Objectives:

Acquisition and application of Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude (KSA) through the
utilization of the nursing process in providing care to the patient in the hospital with emphasis on
the following concepts: Systemic Inflammatory Responses syndrome (SIRS), and Multi Organ
Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS) focus on curative and rehabilitative aspects of nursing.

Specific Objectives:

At the end of 72 hours Related Learning Experience (RLE), I will be able to:

1. Establish rapport with the Clinical Instructor, and co-nursing students;

2. Comply with professional appearance requirements according to organizational standards


and policies actively.

3. Appraise listening, oral, nonverbal, written, and visual communication skills for efficacy.

4. Demonstrate utilization, integration and application of knowledge generated through


presentation as evidence in practice.

5. Utilize assessment skills necessary to client with Multi-organ Problems/ acutely ill

During gross physical assessment.

6. Perform basic nursing skills necessary in the care of the client with Multi-organ
Problems/ acutely ill.

7. Formulate nursing diagnoses related to client with Multi-organ Problems/


acutely ill.

8. Plan nursing care related to client with Multi-organ Problems/ acutely ill

9. Render appropriate nursing care related to client with Multi-organ Problems/


acutely ill.

10. Identify areas of care related to client with Multi-organ Problems/ acutely ill that
could benefit from nursing research or application of evidenced-based practice.
11. Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions rendered.

12. Document and record.
